Nan Goldin - Final Pictures

Nan Goldin - Final Pictures

These are my final photos for my Nan Goldin themed project. All of these photos are unique in their own ways and they each illustrate different emotions. None of the emotions these people have are the same, and in this way, they are each beautiful. I chose these 8 pictures because I think they are my strongest ones and they also represent Nan Goldin's style of photography the most. Like I said in the previous draft, each one of these photos represents the relationship between my friends and family in the photos, or my subjects, and me, the photographer. They are all intimate moments I have shared with these people, and they let me take my camera and immortalize those moments. I hope you enjoy this collection of shots, because i definitely enjoyed taking them.

Nan Goldin - Third Draft

Nan Goldin - Third Draft

This is my third draft of my series on Nan Goldin. These photos, like the other ones, focus on human interactions and emotions. Each photograph is a representation of the relationship between my model (or subject of the photo) and me (the photographer). I had a lot of fun photographing my mom, because she is a Russian Jewish mother, and being so, she has very interesting and various facial expressions. I also had some fun taking pictures of my niece, Nicole who is in the second shot, this particular moment was when I called her, and she turned around and i managed to get the cutest expression. I hope you all enjoy this last draft before I post my final draft.

Personal Project

Personal Project - Landscape

During my Thanksgiving break, I went to my friend Landis' ranch. It is located in the plains of Nevada and the various landscapes there are simply beautiful. While there, I took many interesting nature shots and I played with Black & White and color photos. I hope you all enjoy these pictures, because they were really fun to take.
